Greetings All!
The past few months have be productive! I was absolutely humbled and honored to have been chosen as the keynote speaker for U.S. Bank’s global Business Resource Group Event on Monday, September 18th. They welcomed me with open arms.
I truly applaud U.S. Bank for being courageous enough to fully embrace diversity. Their mission is evident, and they made my message, “Embracing Diversity: A Selfless Choice” easy to deliver.
I’m happy to have been part of an innovative event that contributed directly to executing upon the goals of their mission. And, they were generous enough to support my new jewelry line that will contribute to training for women in need. More to come! This was a soft launch. I’d also like to extend special thanks to Matthew Behrens, Gina Sorenson, the Board, as well as all those who were responsible for organizing the event. The rave reviews I’ve received to-date via email, LinkedIn posts, and messages, have warmed my heart.
I am also grateful to U.S. Bank for choosing my book for their book club last month. Most importantly, I’m overjoyed by the fact that my book has impacted the lives of so many employees – the primary reason I wrote the book! I am excited about our future and am looking forward to a flourishing partnership.
As I shared with the group, keep being fearless, magnanimous, and openhanded! Embracing diversity requires selflessness, which means setting your personal cares aside, and using your time and energy for something or someone greater than yourself.

Announcing Leaders Leaders LeadUp™, a new online social community and training platform for women of color. Leaders LeadUp™ was founded by Janette M. Braverman, Founder and CEO of Leaders Leaving Legacies, LLC, a consulting firm focused on leadership development and technology solutions.
“Leaders LeadUp™ is a platform to uplift, support, and amplify the talents and voices of amazing women of color and underrepresented groups. It was designed to connect women of color with some of the most successful executives and entrepreneurs around the world. I’d like to thank Dr. Eve Hall, President & CEO, Greater Milwaukee Urban League for sponsoring our Launch Event, and everyone who has contributed to our success thus far,” stated Janette M. Braverman.
“Greater Milwaukee Urban League is dedicated to providing and supporting opportunities that empower communities and change lives. Although Leaders LeadUp™ is directed at helping women of color navigate the workplace, the leadership development platform also provides training and insight for employers to increase their sponsorship and empathy for women, underrepresented groups, and all people of color. Training courses will be open to all.
The Leaders LeadUp™ Launch Event will be held on March 24th, 2023 at the University Club of Milwaukee, 924 E. Wells St., Milwaukee, WI 53202, at 5:30 pm. Funds raised for the event will contribute to ongoing platform development, future memberships and scholarships to support women and underrepresented groups. The event will include an amazing panel of women who are currently members of the platform. There will be great food, networking, and further information about how to become a member.
