About Course
Mentoring programs can be an effective method to support diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts in an organization. However, if these programs are not executed with a DEI lens and a focus on both the future of the organization and the individual being mentored, they can fail.
As leaders today we must recognize the different expectations among the workforce and mentor in a way that honors the unique career ambitions and style of individuals. We must also understand the strategic leadership goals of our organizations and at the same time transfer relevant knowledge during the mentoring experience.
In this course, Mentors will gain insight for having an effective mentee/mentor relationship regardless of the different background of their mentee.
